This are the books that are definitely going off to someone else (some of the books in the previous pictures are also going off to whoever gets them), that someone could be you! But I will not be doing non of that funny business today, I guess you'll have to stay tuned...

God this post took a while... My back hurts.

Some books are missing, like Clockwork Angel, from this pictures because I let my friend borrow them. But in a nutshell this are the books I got at BEA this year (not counting the ones I actually bought at Barnes and Noble and Strand) which were about 100 books... Yes, my back killed me all the time at New York, but it was totally worth it. I will probably give away about 25% of these books to whoever really wants them.

It was a very good year, and I thank the publishers and authors for all of this goodness. It was the best graduation present ever!

Sidenote: I also would like to thank the people in my life who made this possible like, my mother, BB -my friend-, Chaz -who helped us all throughout the week-, my aunt Chumi and my stepfather Carli. Love you all!

Double Sidenote; I also got Radiance by Alison Noel (signed!! Thanks to lovely Emily who let Eleni and me know she was there! I got a lot of my books thanks to friends letting me know where the buzz was at, love you guys and next year is going to ROCK YOUR SOCKS!) I already read it (and it's omg awesome, kind of like Evermore at the beginning of the series were it was oh so good) but I won't be posting the review because the book comes out on August.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NATALIE!

Natalie from Mindful Musings (who BTW had her B day recently, like yesterday, so u should go and say congratz) tagged me and is making me do this post. I think Ive done this post already, so I am doing this specific one a bit differently. I am going to directly reply to Natalie's post on her 25 Random Things, so if you want to understand part of this post, go over to Natalie's or just click on the big words that are right below this paragraph.

I am all about being subtle. So please, check that out and then check mine out. Or if you want to get a bit confused well then, read on! That is your prerogative.

1) I do the same lol I just don't care.

2) I like Twilight, I can't help it. It was the first book I fell in love with, and I guess that love will always live inside me, but I think the Host was better in every single way. Why? As Charlotte said in Sex and the City 2:"I don't know, I don't know..."

3) I think Barnes and Noble has a cold atmosphere. My first month at Florida I went to the Breaking Dawn party release, and I decided to go to Barnes and Noble first but quickly left because everybody was behaving so right and civilized, it was like, and now we will all get on a circle and discuss Twilight without showing no emotion. Then again it could be that my Barnes and Noble is the only evil one on Earth... I feel Borders has a more family style atmosphere. I love Borders.

4) After books TV Series are my next love, which is why I am starting Series R Us very soon (I just need a layout T_T)

5) My mother is an atheist, and so am I.

6) I am not a closet Book Blogger either, my mom and friends know about it (though I prefer for them not to read it, I just feel so exposed when I write)

8) Does it really stop anybody? After I got my PILES of books at BEA I still bought some more...

9) Im going to be a freshman in college!!!! I will be majoring in English and double majoring in...

10) I kind of like coffee, as long as it has A LOT of sugar. Thinking about it, I just want liquid sugar.

11) I have a bunch of siblings, so consider yourself lucky.

12) God I love that movie.

13) I don't care when people see the covers of my books. And I dislike E-Readers.

15) "Favorite TV Shows: Smallville, Supernatural, True Blood, How I Met Your Mother, and Buffy." I love these series too. I have a LONGER list of the shows I love, but I won't bore you with that here (I will though bore you at Series R Us very soon).

20) At my school there were plenty of blood drives, I always felt bad that I never donated blood. I am just terrified of needles... Not really needles, but the blood going out of my body (Damn, I wouldn't last long with a vampire; well, maybe if he is Bones and his bite makes me high) is aagh, also, when they are putting vaccines? Oh god.

21) Hahahaha.

22) My sister has a puppy who is really my mom's. His name is Spot. I kind of hate/love him.

BEA Day 2 Part I; The Content and the Buzz.

So, where was I?

May 26

Got up at 5:30 a.m. to go and take the subway up to 42nd st and from there take a bus to the Javits Center. When I got to Javits it was still too early, but Jennifer was there so we hanged out and tried to make some sort of plan for the day (incredibly enough I was the only girl there without a plan). We made some kind of plan, where we went to an event and everything (never went to the event).

After that girls began arriving. Eleni, Emily, and a few more (of which I don't really remember every single name because we didn't hang out as much xD). BUT! I did get to meet Lexie fromPoisoned Rationality!

She is a sweetie! I luvs her lots (we kind of stick together thorough that day, a much needed companion).

All in all, it was MADNESS! You want to know the names of the first books I found? Another Pan by Daniel & Dina Nayeri (the sequel to Another Faust, a book which although not my favorite I wanted to read the sequel to see where it goes from here) and The Body at the Tower by Y. S. Lee (sequel to A Spy in the House from The Agency Trilogy, this one I reeaaallyyy enjoyed even though it had no vampires in it!).

And imagine my shock when I actually got the books for free O.o See, everybody kept saying "oh, there are ARC's for free blah blah" but it sounds too good to believe right? Well, it's real ladies and gentleman. And you don't even know how many YA books there were at the convention! Not only that, but how many supernatural YA books!! It was heaven on earth!!

The day was pretty chaotic. My bags were filled in no time and I had to go to my suitcase to drop some books so I could carry more. Thank goodness I had the sense enough to bring a suitcase just in case (I think that if I were to give you any tips for next year bringing a suitcase would be up there with the first numbers, along with bring a male friend if you are not that strong- like me). Here I got to stop and thoroughly thank my mother and my friend Chaz because without them I think my arms would have fallen off my body. They were smart, kind, and awesome enough to come to The Javits Center and check up on me, and more importantly they took my two tote bags full of books with them. I believe that is the best present they could have given me (that along with taking me to see Sex and the City 2).

So here I was at BEA, with no books to carry around and plenty of tote bags to fill up. So what did I do? Go around and just check on which books I didn't get the first time around. There were not as much as the first time around, but I got plenty. I was a very happy girl.

BUT! Don't think I only got books! I also gots lots of business cards from my fellow bloggers! I met so many bloggers! I read on a blog (don't remember which one specifically, but it was one of the blogs giving advice on BEA) that the best thing you could do was not being shy. I didn't follow this advice at TAC (too nervous), but at BEA? I was a social butterfly. I talked to so many people I actually surprised myself. For those of you who met me at BEA I have one thing to tell you, and this is the honest truth, I am not that social, EVER. So yeah, me at BEA? Total shocker (I think I might have scared some people...) and I don't regret it at all. It led to meeting a lot of amazing people, bloggers and authors and publishers... *grins*

Oh, and I also got to meet one of my fav people on the blog sphere, Sandy The Pirate Penguin!!!

She is pretty cool, and we (me and Lexie) hanged out with her as long as we could. Oh, our group was pretty big at the beginning, but as soon as BEA doors opened? Everybody went to do their own thing and so you only saw groups of 2 or 3. There were a lot of signings, and events, and books lying around waiting to be claimed.

All in all, I think I only missed like 1 or 2 signings. I -amazingly- got to pretty much all the signings I wanted to attend. Yes, I met Rick Riordan (I was pictures and a book to prove it)

Jaclyn Dolamore, and Richelle Mead (who actually does look a little like a vampire in real life!!!).

So many people!

After BEA (who thought that day would ever really end?) I believe we went to Penn Station because some girls had to leave, but me and Lexie took the challenge of getting to some Hotel (that I completely forgot it's name) to a Book Blogger Celebration. We walked about 10 blocks, out hands carrying suitcases full of books. It was painful to say the least; I finally got to meet Torture in person. We got to the street it was! But... We were about 200 buildings away. Lets just say we gave up. At least I gave up and dragged Lexie along with me. We got to 42nd St (beautiful) and sat on the steps of a Starbucks for as long as the employees didn't throw us out and made a plan. I called my mom and decided to meet with her. Lexie had to get back to Penn station so she accompanied me to meet my mom. Mother was at Macy's which thankfully it was only a subway ride away. After meeting up with her me and Lexie parted ways with the promise to meet on Thursday.

In one sentence: BEA is Amazing. Epic. The biggest book event of the year. And New York is phenomenal, everything I ever thought it was and more.

Now, for what you are really here... The books. I have pictures, or I could make a list... Why don't I just do both?

I Graduated!!!

I SURE DID IT!

I survived Puerto Rican and American high school. Yay me!

It was today at 9 a.m. Too early really. We had to be there at 8 to get good seats and I had to get in line. There were people standing in line with me left and right that I didn't know. But I didn't care. My friends were somewhere close by, and I was happy. I finally finished High School, FINALLY! At the beginning of the graduation I went up to say the welcome in spanish, and even though I was nervous I didn't waver, I spoke loud and proud (something I am really impressed/proud about).

After getting my fake diploma, we went over to Red Lobster. I tried my first Lobster ever! And! I wasn't impressed... I prefer every other fish, specially shrimp!

After Red Lobster (where I used my lobster bib as a cape mind you) I went to Books A Million because my grandmother wanted some cross words things. I got out of Books A Million with 4 books and a new lap desk for my laptop. I said I wasn't going to buy anything I know! But my aunt bought it for me so I get a pass ;)

What did I buy?

After, Beautiful Americans and Wintergirls were about 3 bucks each, the only slightly expensive one was The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner. I know, I bought another Stephenie Meyer book, but I really like to have every book of a series together, and this book is surely a part of Eclipse. Anyways, I will read it and let you know if it's worth your time.

After Books a Million I went home and slept for hours, woke up and went to buy some series.

It's going to be a fun night.

Right now we are watching Alice in Wonderland, good movie. I can honestly say I had a great graduation day, a few things could have been better, but I had a great day.

College, here I come.

Ok, now trying to be a little less biased...

Even though Rose is now out of high school she has not changed a bit. Grown up she has, but maybe not to what most people want her to be. A quiet little girl who only defends and never gives her opinion? That is so not Rose. She is the kind of girl who runs into a battle, the girl who never gives up on the people she loves, the girl who SPEAKS UP. And that is a lot of what happened on this book really. There was a lot of problems and controversy in this book, Should Moroi defend themselves a bit more? Are Strogoi really able to change back to something less evil? Should Dhampires get out of high school 2 years before they're time? Yes a lot of problems in the vampire world.

But what about Rose's world? Well, Dimitri is still on the run promising to kill her the instant she steps out of High School. And Adrian is still alive! He ans Rose are trying to make it work, and even though I believe that in another world they would be great together, in a world where Dimitri still breathes this relationship is never going to succeed. But that is just lil old me talking...

Lisa is a rock star in this book. I love her, not more than Rose but still. In the parts where Rose had to take the back seat and let Lisa shine I never got bored. Not once. I like seeing the world through Lissa's eyes, and I just loved to see Christian and her struggle to win the break up (even though they still love each other).

Shocking things happen, bad and good things. This book had so many twists and turns, and I really believe that we got a pretty good picture of the "adult" life of the girls. There are no more excuses, no more passes, it's life or death now. It's the real world, and there is no teacher or guide to save your ass.

Also the summary may sound like everything is about Rose and Dimitri, but I believe this book is more about Rose and how she deals with the outside world. Of course there is Dimitri drama (thank god for that), but it's more than the romance believe me. It's great! And I can't wait for Last Sacrifice (even though it's the last one T_T)

As you read the book you will feel as if transported into the vampires world, it's like watching a movie in your head. You don't even notice the letter on the page because you are too engrossed on the story. And long after you are finished with the last page of the book you will still think about everything that happen.


What can I say? I loved it!

PS; The ending? Total cliffhanger. Could NOT have been worst. Actually, on a second thought, it could have been worse lol
