I stumbled upon a wonderful site the other day. It's called Teen Ink, which is a magazine that is written for teens by teens.

Between raising the X's son Grayer, keeping on top of her studies, moving house and ensuring Mrs X's day runs smoothly, it's a wonder Nanny ever finds time to hang out with the gorgeous HH on the sixth floor.

With divorce on the cards, Nanny finds herself caught up in the X's embittered world of power plays, lies and deceit. As communication rapidly breaks down,will Nanny be able to maintain the mental health of Grayer, despite the onslaught of Personal Problem Consultants, macrobiotic nutritionist and bilingual meals?

Taschima:

Nan, or Nanny, is a struggling senior at NYU who needs a job in order to pay rent and ll those other things you gotta pay when you are an adult. Thus comes Mrs. X to the picture. She offers nanny a job taking care of her four-year-old son Grayer. Nanny accepts and then the story goes on from there.

This story while humorous could at sometimes border on depressing.

Nan is this totally funny girl who you would love to be friends with but her character has things that I just couldn't tolerate. While I could understand her taking crap from her employer for the child's sake I thought that at some points enough was enough. If I were Nan I would have screamed at Mrs. and Mr. X a couple of times in the novel, in fact I think I did screamed at them a couple of times. She is kind hearted, but lets herself get pushed around.

Mrs. X is a complete bully. I dislike her so much. Even though at times she may seem human to you do not believe. She is the devil re incarnated. I wanted to call child services on her a couple of times.

I felt this book was rather a guide of the perks and downfalls of being a nanny. Perk number 1, once the kid gets used to you he can be so sweet you will care about him as if he were your own child. Downfall, he ain't really your child. Why did I felt this book was more of a guide? Because through the entire novel I didn't feel like we were heading towards a goal but rather just watching the journey. Kind of like The Time Traveler's Wife.

The ending left me with a lot of questions so I am happy there is a sequel. Oh and I watched the movie, and after I read the book I feel they did a wonderful job with the movie. The movie unlike the book has a goal, a point, which is very good for the movie because I feel that if they would have stick to the book completely we would have been left with a lot of questions, and by the end of it we would be asking ourself "Yeah, so? What's the point!"

It is a light enjoyable read though, and super funny, I think everybody should give this book a try. Not much on the romance department, even though there is one H. Hottie looming around.

Which are like my favorite songs by Regina Spektor. That sums up my songs to 42 now! A little too much? I just love music, and I specially love sharing it with you guys.

• Talking about music, after much consideration, and countless tears, I decided to yet again change the skin of my Ipod. True the last one was small and compact, but it had a big but. It didn't show the title of the songs. I mean, come on, how are you suppose to know whats on? I know, that's why I got the new Ipod. I'm still getting used to it, but I think I like it.
  
  
• I told myself I wouldn't do this... But I just have to. Today I watched the most depressing episode of Smallville. Clark was THIS close to happiness and they took it away. People died. Clark is not happy yet again; it's all a mess. A big pile of poo. Also what is wrong with the people who wrote Smallville? Why did they have to introduce Louis so early? And with Lana STILL on the picture? I mean we are rooting for Clark and Lana but on the back of our minds it's that little stupid note that says:"PS; Clark ends with Louis." I mean, I don't want them to end up together, not even because the movies say so. I mean Smallville has gone far off the highway of Superman so why not just take it a little further? Maybe even let Lex (who I totally love) be happy and everybody to end up in bliss? NooOoOoo. This episode is the embodiment of unfairness. End of ranting.

Teaser Tuesday: Magic Under Glass

"I hardly knew how to respond, with my worst fears unfolding before my eyes. I knew I hand't dreamed my encounter with Mr.Parry, but how could I convince them? "Please, sir, Mr. Parry asked me to come here. I don't know what else to do."

"Look, I'm not sure what went on with you and Mr. Parry; it's not my business. But I am quite sure" - he spoke so precisely that his white teeth flashes at me- "that he would not ask a girl of your sort to come here. If you don't leave these steps right this moment, I will summon the police."

Shame filled my cheeks with heat, but I couldn't give up yet. "If you'd only let Mr. Parry know I'm here, he'll tell you!" I cried. "I'm no liar!"

My words bounced off sympathetic faces. I couldn't bear my own reflection in their eyes: a girl dirty and disheveled, shouting nonsense. They thought I was a fallen woman."

I still haven;t finished The NaNny Diaries, but I'm almost done. I'm reading this one right along though! Let's see how it goes.

Zombie Evolution

I was watching this movie called Zombie Land the other day. It was funny, and awesome. Earth has been taken over by a zombie plague and well almost everybody's new diet is brains. So we follow these two men who are survivors of the plague. Columbus is a big wuss but under the pressure of zombies he has survived. Tallahassee is a tough cookie. He was born to slay zombies with any weapon at hand... and his only goal is finding the last Twinkie on Earth. So on the way they find this two girls named Wichita and Little Rock and well some way or another they get stuck together.

And the story goes on after that. It's a great movie, but one that got me thinking. Which zombies do I prefer really? We got the 21st century zombies on one hand. They run, they jump walls, hey they even open doors! Is amazing what these new fellows can do.

But on the other hand you got the zombies who put fear in our hearts since the very beginning. The slow walking drooling machines! They are idiots, can't even open a door, but they still can sneak up on you and eat your face off. Like seriously you can see the zombie 20 feet away from you, you turn, and then they are there! How they do it? You do not know! Oooh but don't turn your back on them. They are like the ghosts of Super Mario.

Personally? As much as I love, and am terrified, of the slow zombies, fast zombies are far more aaahhhh!! THEY RUN FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! THEY SWIM!!!!!!! YOU ARE NOT SAFE! Damn. Have you watched 28 days, and months, later? Dude that is scary. Am I right? Or am I right?
