The Ivy Blurb (From Lauren Kunze)

Since most of you probably do0n't read the comments (why read them when you can read the post right?) you probably missed Lauren Kunze's response/blurb on her novel The Ivy. She left the comment at this post hoping to enlighten us all on what The Ivy is all about.

Here is her comment:

Hi guys, Lauren Kunze here, author of The Ivy! Harperteen tweeted at me about this post, and I'm here to satisfy your curiosity with blurbs! The series website will be live soon, so more information to come, but for now:

From the ebook:
"Freshman year at Harvard--glamorous parties, blossoming friendships, steamy romances, and scandalous secrets. Skip the campus tour and get right to the good stuff: classes are for scoping guys (and their Facebook profiles), not taking notes. The library is for study dates (the medieval history stacks get a lot of action), not studying. And success is a 4.0 GPA... plus getting into the most exclusive parties. How will Callie--a California girl with brains, beauty, and big dreams--and her three roommates survive?

Get admitted to The Ivy, the first book in a provocative new series about the world of the Ivy League."

And, from the hardback book flap:
"CALLIE ANDREWS may not have money or connections or the right clothes, and she may have way too many complications in her love life, what with--

GREGORY
the guy she loves to hate
EVAN
the guy she'd love to forget
CLINT
the guy she'd love to love
and MATT
the guy she really should love

--all vying for her attention.
But she has three fantastic roommates (best friends or her worst nightmare?) and a wholesome California-girl reputation (oops) and brains and beauty and big, big dreams.
Will it be enough to survive freshman year at Harvard?"

Thank you so much to everyone who is excited for The Ivy! For more news and updates feel free to follow me on twitter:

That's enough procrastination for now... have to get back to work on editing the sequel!

I think The Ivy is one of this fall's most expected books. I am reading Guardian of the Gate right now (sidenote: totally NOT disappointing me!!) but right after this one I plan to read The Ivy because after all the darkness and creepiness Michelle Zink can bring to her pages I think some lighthearted fun and scandal is just what I need.

So, tell me, was The Ivy one of your most expected books before this post? Is it now?
