Rose Hathaway has always played by her own rules.

She broke the law when she ran away from St. Vladimir’s Academy with her best friend and last surviving Dragomir Princess, Lissa. She broke the law when she fell in love with her gorgeous, off-limits instructor, Dimitri. And she dared to defy Queen Tatiana, leader of the Moroi world, risking her life and reputation to protect generations of dhampir guardian to come.

Now the law has finally caught up with Rose- for a crime she didn’t even commit. She’s in prison for the highest offense imaginable: the assassination of a monarch. She’ll need help from both Dimitri and Adrian to find the one living person who can stall her execution and force the Moroi elite to acknowledge a shocking new candidate for the royal throne: Vasilisa Dragomir.

But the clock on Rose’s life is running out. Rose knows in her heart the world of the dead wants her back… and this time she is truly out of second chances. The big question is, when your life is about saving others, who will save you?
Taschima's POV:

I'm probably a little late with my review. Half the world must have already read and review the book by now, but I'll still contribute my two cents. This series has been phenomenal since it's first book, Vampire Academy, and it didn't let down at the end. Last Sacrifice was amazing, full of action, plot twists that even caught me by surprise, a perfect ending for a wonderful book!!! I LOVED IT!

It was, amazing. I am speechless. I don't want to give anything away, I hate spoilers. I'll do this as clean as I can probably be, but Oh My Goat!

The characters were real. There has been so much character development throughout the series, and in this book all the characters took their turn to shine. The only complaint that I have is that I didn't get a lot of Christian Ozera, but other than that we're good Richelle. Rose is, and will always be, my favorite female protagonist off all YA history. She kicks butt in the best way. Her wit, bravery and total devil-may-care attitude towards rules is what makes her so fantastic (among other things of course). She just has a light that no once else can duplicate. Although in this book she was more than that, she also helped others heal with words and wisdom. She has really grown up *starts crying*

The whole adventure was phenomenal. Some characters though are are done. Adrian for example. Far from done. I bet my pretty copy of Last Sacrifice that his story will be next in line for the spin off. He just has so much to say, and I suspect who will be his other half... But I'm still Team Dimitri all the freaking way.

The ending was great. Though some of the things that happened I was like, aw really? Not because I didn't like them, but because I will miss them. Also big shock on who was the murderer. Completely did not expect it. Also, THANK YOU SO MUCH RICHELLE for making the book almost a 600 page book! Ate it up like it was 200 pages.

I really wish to know more about what will happen next, how the Moroi world will change, what will happen, but I guess well have to wait for the spin off. Theres a lot of stories to tell, and fans are eager to read them. Twilight fans, look no further and don't mourn the ending of Twilight (really, don't) Vampire Academy is the best vampire series out there. If you don't believe me start reading it now :P

Books like this are the reason I read.

PS; Did you read it? What did you think? Please if you have reviews on it or whatever leave a comment with your review. I would love to read them.
